Hi, I’m Kristine.
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I still live here with my husband of 22 years. We have two middle-school-aged children.
I have a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from DePaul University. After working as a medical interpreter for Spanish and Polish speaking patients at an academic medical center, I decided to pursue a technical degree, M.S. in eCommerce Technology. I had developed a passion for technology with the dot com explosion which fueled a lifetime of interest in using technology and systematic approaches to people and process improvement. I have worked in various industries such as eCommerce, financial technology, and healthcare IT. The experience of working with startups and contributing to the success of scaling their processes motivated me to continue to develop my skills in leadership, process development, and improvement.
Twenty years ago, I decided to pursue a career in project management because it allowed me to develop and grow my passion for people, process, and technology advancement. This critical step in my career allowed me to join Fortune 500 companies to implement complex Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other automated systems within the healthcare industry learning both on-premise and SaaS applications. I managed many large, complex projects within multi-facility health systems. Throughout this time, I established robust Project Management Offices (PMOs) and developed scalable, repeatable models to improve project delivery and overall operational efficiency.
Within this time, I recognized a significant gap between the sales and implementation processes that created a poor customer experience. Determined to improve the customer journey, I assumed a role within a newly developed sales enablement function responsible for sales and operations planning and execution (S&Op). I spent nearly 10 years working with a highly-skilled sales team positioning implementation models while developing new market-driven services offerings. Through the development of a detailed scoping process, fewer than 2% of our projects exceeded budget. I earned formal recognition as an “Outstanding Contributor” from the Sales Executive Management Team.
Over the last five years, I have had the privilege of coaching, mentoring, and leading a highly-skilled internationally dispersed team of project managers. Using key performance indicators (KPIs), I have led the development of new implementation models focusing on operational efficiency. I believe operations strategy is a key company differentiator by aligning the sales and implementation processes and teams with a focus on positive customer experience.
I want to scale organizational transformation and growth using a systematic action-oriented approach. Using my experience and accomplished results, I want to add value and help startups and scaleups create a successful foundation. Through my own company, iAlign Solutions, LLC, we value integrity and commitment to provide these results to our customers.
As a part of giving back, my family and I volunteer each year within the community by helping create food baskets over the holidays and providing essential items for those in need. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
